Tiamat’s usual form is that of an enormous red dragon with five heads, one of each kind of chromatic dragons, but she was known to take human shape as well, in order to better communicate with her priesthood or cultists, or simply to better manipulate clueless mortals.
In her shape as a seductive sorceress, she wields shadow magic, and she has orchestrated the theft of the good dragons’ eggs that were corrupted into Dragonkin who later served in her dragon armies as common soldiers and low-level commanders.
There are even sages who contend that the draconic sorcerers and draconic sorcerous bloodline are in fact descended from Tiamat herself and her dalliances with mortals.
