Legends tell that a high-ranking wizard of the Order of Amulets and Artifacts of Sextoagrippus dedicated his life to investigate, through magic, the mysteries of time. The duality between past and future intrigued him.
The idea of an ever-growing past, a great repository of everything that happens to us and around us, consuming the present time and inexorably degrading everything, turning life into memories, ashes and dust, while the future, the realm of possibility, when materialized, was immediately lost; the idea that time was this race that is imposed on us, this flood flow, from which we cannot escape; the idea of one way, of not being able to turn around, disturbed him. Why does time impose a direction on us, while space is free to our will?
And for decades, he tried to find a way, through magic, to overcome this flow. He intended to travel from the future to the past, and from the past to the future, as if walking around in a garden.
Obviously, he failed in his attempt, or so he says.
But decades of scrutinizing what is most secret in reality has left its mark on his being. In the same way that time has a meaning, the human body has fixed directions. Front and back, right and left. This directionality of nature was suspended in him. Now, he has no front and back sides, right and left sides, only manifestations of different aspects of his nature. What should be in front of you is the manifestation of your human side, hopeful, in an ordinary man's face. On the reverse side, his rancor, hatred and desire for destruction are manifested in a hideous gargoyle.
