The one who lives with the monsters ends up becoming one of them.
So it was with Sealgair. Sole survivor of a village burned by dragons as a child, he swore vengeance on all species. He grew up, learned to fight and hunt, and became a dragon slayer, keeping parts of the beasts' bodies as souvenirs. With the skull of one of those ferocious reptiles, he adorned his mount. With the horns of another dragon, he made his helmet. With the ivory of his fangs, he rigged his armor. And with their blood he bathed himself in the countless battles he faced.
However, the intimate contact with the draconian blood affected him little by little. A strange disease attacked his skin, which began to peel and darken. His fingers thickened, and his nails became claws. An internal burning, a painful heat, began to ignite his insides. Something about him was resembling dragons. A double punishment: hating the beasts, seeing himself little by little becoming one of them.
