These worm-like monsters are gifted with powerful psionic abilities that allowed them to reach the Astral Plane even if they evolved in the depths of Underdark.
Their long tubular bodies have arms and legs that are ending in sharp claws and in the place of their head there are circular maws with sharp teeth.
In the Astral Plane, psurlons are engaged in struggle with githyanki for the dominance over the Astral and force to be reckoned with even by the mind flayers.
There are three stages in the life of psurlon, through which they grow in size and evolve in psychic powers.
