There are some fey beings who have made a pact with Elder powers, demonic princes or even Great Old Ones from the universes that came before.
A species of creatures like that, coming from the First World and other realms of Faery are the Labyrinth Guardians. Once common fauns and satyrs, they have been misshapen by the worship of the Great God Pan and the Goat With Thousand Young. Now they are blind beings, that dwell in places dark and damp, forbidden to both mortals and otherworldly beings. They are mercenaries that serve other powers greater than them, personifying the darkest side of nature and moral nightmares and they frequently make deals to guard the treasures of others, not caring for who their master is. There are Labyrinth Guardians that serve the cults of Great Old Ones, the Queen of Witches, Elven outcasts and necromancers and even great dragons, who sometimes pay them to guard their hordes.
It is said that eons ago, when they served the Cult of Baphomet, the Lord of the Hidden Labyrinth, they made a pact with him so that they receive magical two-headed axes, akin to those of his minotaurs. Perhaps this is the reason why are large-sized Labyrinth Guardians frequently mistaken for demons and demonic-blooded minotaurs.
